Benete port (port code: IDBEN) is a medium-sized port in Indonesia. It is situated on the southeast side of Teluk Benete, on the southwest coast of Sumbawa Island, in the south central portion of the Indonesian archipelago. The port handles mainly copper concentrates processed from the nearby ore mine, coal for the power station and general cargoes. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are general cargo vessel, accounting for 21%; landing craft and bulk carrier, each taking up 18%. This port allows for a maximum draught of 8.5 meters and a maximum deadweight of 38218t. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 180 meters.
